Automatic planers and moulders are designed for the longitudinal working of products made of solid wood, boards such as MDF, plastic or similar materials. In one run the products can be planed, profiled or rip sawed. The transport through the machine is carried out by numerous feed rollers. A large variety of tool receiving sets and the use of universal spindles, cleaving units and saw stands makes the possible applications almost unlimited! The current offer contains 4 ranges of models:

• Variomat, the flexible machine for small wokshops with the integrated multifunctional table for end-tenoning
  
• Unimat series with conventional tool technology (the moulder bought most often all over the world!)
  
• Powermat series with forward-looking PowerLock tool technology. Highly flexible machine concept for the smallest lot sizes with optimum surface quality.
  
• Highspeed series with PowerLock or hydro-tool technology to be able to joint tools. Feed speeds up to 1,000 m/min can be realized.
  

All machines can be optimally equipped for every individual application requirement. In addition, WEINIG supplies everything around the planer and moulder, starting with the tools, the production of the cutters with Rondamat tool grinding machines and the tool measurement with OptiControl, the automation right up to the planning of overall solutions.
